FLUX FACTOR
ADD-ON EXPERIENCE to FLUXUATE!
Flux Factor is an exclusive add-on experience for dancers participating in Fluxuate who want to take their training one step further.
Flux Factor dancers will take the same daytime classes as Fluxuate participants, receiving the full intensive experience alongside the entire group. In addition, Flux Factor dancers will rehearse in the evenings after each day of the intensive and participate in a professional dance film project.
Over the course of the program, Flux Factor dancers will engage directly in the creative process alongside Jaclyn Royal and members of Royal Flux. They will learn choreography, collaborate in a professional rehearsal setting, and gain insight into how movement is developed, refined, and prepared for camera.
On the final day, Flux Factor dancers will film the completed work, gaining hands-on experience in the world of dance on film. This unique opportunity allows dancers to explore the process of translating movement from the studio to the screen while participating in a creative project from concept to completion.
Flux Factor is ideal for dancers who are ready to show up fully, challenge themselves artistically, collaborate deeply, and experience what it feels like to be part of a professional creative process.
Submission Process
Submit a one minute (minimum) video of yourself dancing contemporary to royalfluxdance@gmail.com. Click HERE to pay your submission fee. Please use either dropbox or upload to Youtube. Space is limited so availability is not guaranteed. $20 submission fee.
